Robert J. Brooks died Friday, December 14, 2012 at his home. He was 72 years old, and was retired from R J's Heating and Cooling, his heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration business for over 40 years. He was a native of Ethel, Louisiana but was born and raised in Washington Parish. He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Elaine Brooks-Russell and Julie Ann Plaisance-Smith. One grandson, William Jewel Russell, III; three granddaughters, Rhiannon Russell, Brittney Leigh-Ann Smith and Hannah Elizabeth Plaisance.
