Funeral services for Eugene Ouchley, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday June 29, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA Interment will be in Hasley Cemetery with Rev. Billy Lovett, Rev. Michael Stravato and special speaker Darryl Beasley officiating.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Mae Acree Ouchley, sister, Joye Ouchley Lewis, brother, Sylvester Ouchley and wife, Geneva, and father and mother-in-law, Max and Gladys Wilbanks.
Survivors: his spouse of 56 years, Sharon Ouchley; son, Mark Ouchley and Fiancé (Dana); Aunt, Orie Davis; brother-in-law, Orville Lewis, brother-in-law, Bobby Wilbanks and wife, Becky; several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and a host of friends.
After early retirement from Graphic Packaging and Carport Transport, Inc. of Monroe, Eugene worked part time assisting his wife, Sharon and his son, Mark who are realtors for Coldwell Banker Group One Realty. He had a kind spirit and enjoyed visiting and caring for his sick friends and relatives. He was a member of Peniel Baptist Church and was a member of the West Monroe Lions Club, where he served as president for two terms.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Salsbury, J. R. LaForge, Craig Morris, Charlie Wilbanks, W. L. Hines, Jason Carpenter, Marshall Douglas, and Justin Ouchley.
