Answers Long Roll.

After a lingering illness of eight months, Mr Morgan Morgan, 98 years old, died at his home near Baywood and was buried in the family cemetery of that vicinity. The deceased was born August 7, 1828.He has passed the most of his long and useful life in Louisiana.
He leaves nine children--three sons and six daughters--33 grand-children, and 13 great-grand-children to mourn his loss.

He was a Confederate veteran, having belonged first to Company A, and afterwards the Fourth Louisiana wounded at Jonesboro, near Atlanta, Georgia, December, 1864. He returned home in January, 1865, a few months before the surrender at Appamatox, because of the seriousness of his wounds.
