Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn A. "Sister' Spencer, 77, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2009 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Rev. Huey Diffey will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Spencer was born February 1, 1932 and passed away July 22, 2009. She was retired from Catfish Cabin after many years of service.
Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Ruby Allen and four brothers, Robert Allen, Charlie Allen, Buddy Allen and Floyd "Sockum" Allen.
Mrs. Spencer is survived by 2 daughters, Hazel Dillon and Bea White and husband Criswell; sister, Hazel Bell and husband Jack; grandchildren, Cris White, Russell White, Tasha Dillon, Michael Dillon, Justin White and Tina White and 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Russell White, Justin White, Michael Dillon, Walter Stevens, Keith Alford and Steven Palowsky.
