From Louisiana Archives ~ Glass, Alberter, Private Company G, 12th Louisiana Infantry. Enlisted March 4, 1862, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. Rolls from November, 1862, to April, 1863, Present. Roll for May and June, 1863, Absent. Sent to private home, sick, near Moore's Bluff, Big Black, June 14, 1863. Rolls from July, 1863, to June, 1864,Present. Roll for July and August, 1864, Absent, wounded in action near Atlanta, Georgia, July 20,1864, and sent to General Hospital, Savannah, Georgia Wounded slightly in leg.
