From Louisiana Archives ~ Fuller, Samuel La, Private Company E, 12th Louisiana Infantry. Enlisted March 5, 1863, Trenton, Louisiana. Rolls to June,1863, Absent, sick at Hospital, at Meridian, Mississippi, since April 26, 1863. Rolls from July, 1863 to December, 1863, Absent, captured at Jackson, Mississippi, May 14, 1863. Rolls from May, 1864 to August, 1864, Absent, in Louisiana on Parole. Admitted September 10, 1864, to C S A General Hospital,Shreveport, Louisiana. Released from Hospital, October 1, 1864. Paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina, April 26,1865.
