Mrs. Ruth Bateman, wife of the late E.A. Bateman, who died 3 years ago, died April 1st, at age 67 years.
Survivors are her 2 children, 1 surviving, Robert H. Burris, 1 daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Burris Magee, 4
grandchildren, Mrs. Dorothy Seal, and Miss Elaine Burris, and little Patricia Ruth and Joe Edmond Magee, 2
brothers, William M. of Franklinton and J.W. Bateman of Baton Rouge, 2 sisters, Mrs. A.G. Magee, Sr., and
Mrs. Dell Foil, both of Franklinton. Interment was in the Ellis cemetery.
