Married 2nd Minerva Susan Wright in 1849. She is buried in the Taylor Cemetery. His father was Cade D Strickland, Sr November 1, 1791 - March 1, 1868 buried in old Strickland cemetery believed to be located in Section 39 T1S-R6E St Helena Parish, Louisiana
