Graveside services for John Kenneth Poindexter, 61, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. Paschal’s Cemetery West Monroe, LA with Rev. Wayne James and Denise Womack officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
John was born December 12, 1953 in Monroe, LA and went to be with our Heavenly Father on April 12, 2015 in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill Poindexter and Marie Forbito and his brother Buddy Poindexter.
John is survived by his wife of 28 years, Teresa James Poindexter; daughters, Amy Baldwin and husband Michail of Choudrant, LA, Bambi Brooke Watson and husband Jeffrey of Calhoun, La and Katie Poindexter of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Thomas and Sophia Baldwin, Diesel, Steel and John Cruise Watson; and best friend of 35 years Johnny Wyatt.
