Funeral services for Mrs. Stacey Gentry Morrison, age 31, are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, 1005 Cherry Ridge Road, Bastrop, with Bro. Greg Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschals Cemetery, West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, May 26, at Golden Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Mrs. Morrison, head teller at Regions Bank, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. She supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and was a team leader with Relay For Life. Everyone who met her, loved her and she was a strong person who believed life was never about her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Tommie Gentry.

She is survived by her husband, Josh Morrison; parents, Sandy Kendrick and husband David, Jim Gentry; grandparents, Sally Doughty and husband Ted , Claude Book and wife Ginger, Barbara Huffman and husband Dale, Pete Morrison and wife June; brother, Joshua Huffman; mother and father-in-law, Wendel Morrison and wife Becky; brothers-in-law, Brandon Morrison and wife Natalie, Patrick Morrison and wife Jessica; uncles, Steve Gentry, Ben Book and wife Judy, Sandra Hawkins and husband Greg; two nieces who were the light of her life and whom she loved as her own, Ellis Morrison and Kennedy Morrison; first cousin, Jacob Book; special friends who over the last five years have gone above and beyond, Corey and Ashley Robinson and Timothy and Karen Williams. She loved her little Chihuahua, Abby Gail.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Brandon Morrison, Patrick Morrison, Joshua Huffman, Jacob Book, Corey Robinson, Timmy Williams, and Bret Munson.
