From Louisiana Archives ~ Boudreaux, Jules (also on Rolls as Boudreaux, Jules), Private Company C 1st Louisiana Heavy Artillery. Enlisted __ . Rolls from October, 1862, to February, 1863, "Present. Conscript. Joined October 20, 1862, per order No.
9, Headquarters. Heavy Artillery." Roll for March and April, 1863, "Absent. Sick in City Hospital." Roll for September and October, 1863, "In Hospital. at Enterprise." Present on all Rolls from November, 1863, to October, 1864. Appears on Roll of Prisoners of War, Captured at Fort Blakely, Alabama, April 9, 1865. Ship Island, Mississippi, April 15, 1865, and transferred. to Vicksburg, Mississippi, May 1,1865,and paroled at Camp Townsend May 6, 1865.
