Graveside memorial services with Military honors for Virgil L Miller, 83 of Quitman, will be 2:00PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Brother David Walsworth of Jonesboro 1st Assembly of God, officiating under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel of Ruston. Mr Miller died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Ruston.
Mr Miller was a US Army veteran honorably discharged as 1st Lieutenant and had worked as a VA Benefits counselor in Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivah Monks and Harm J Miller and his nephew, Daryl Haken. Mr Miller is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce Anne Miller; sons, Steven Miller and wife Debby of Quitman, Gregory Miller and wife Queenie of Las Vegas, NV; sister in law, Janet E Haken of Friendswood, TX and niece, Tracy Murphy of Arlington, TX.
