Services for Jack Canterbury, 74, of Ruston, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Rolly Walker officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Canterbury died Monday, May 3, 2004, in Ruston following a short illness.
Mr. Canterbury was a retired Professor of Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Bell Canterbury.
He is survived by his children, Karen C. Hunt and husband Trott of Ruston, Jeananne C. Migala and husband Paul of Simonton, TX, Randy Canterbury and wife Alice of Kingwood, TX, Scott Canterbury and wife Yesmin of Fairmont, WV; grandchildren, Trotter Hunt and wife Nancy, Jessie Hunt, Cass Hunt, Ross Canterbury, Jason Canterbury, Matt Canterbury, Connor Canterbury, Kelly Belton, Zachary Belton; brother, Ray Canterbury and wife Lettie of Simsboro; sister, Marjorie Harvey of Hodge; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bell of Willis, TX, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bell of Eldorado, AR, Mr and Mrs. Danny Bell of Ruston, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Griffin of Ruston; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends from the Robinette subdivision.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Clint Bell, Jimmy Bell, Stephen Bell, Barry Canterbury, Mike Canterbury, Tommy Canterbury and Andy Griffin.
