SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for W. Helen Lewis, 80, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Christ United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Tom Howe. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday, March 26, 2012 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.
Helen was born July 2, 1931 in Shreveport. She passed away on March 23, 2012 in Shreveport. Helen was a federal employee from DeSoto Parish. She was also a freelance historian and volunteered her time with hospices. She was a member of the Builders Sunday School Class at Christ United Methodist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Romalea Lewis.
