Services for Mrs. Linda Alice Drummond Hale Causey of West Monroe, will be 10am Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Community Baptist Church in West Monroe with Bro. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, LA.Linda Alice Drummond Hale Causey, 69, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, after a long bout with lung cancer.Linda was born September 7, 1944, in Almont, Michigan, the daughter of Bruce A. and Ruth H. (Peirson) Drummond. She graduated from Almont High School and attended vocational school in Bastrop, Louisiana. On February 22, 1992, Linda was united in marriage to Phillip Causey. Linda was a member of the Community Baptist Church in West Monroe. She took great joy in her family; church friends and her constant companions, her dogs, Hinto and Ginger.Linda is preceded in death by her brother Ron Drummond and her parents Bruce and Ruth Drummond.Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Phillip Causey of West Monroe; children, Lisa (David Wilde) Hale of Monroe, Bruce (Marpuah) Hale of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Heather Hale Coleman (fiancé Mark Savana) of Bastrop; step-daughter, Carla Lackey of Hogansville, Georgia. She is further survived by grandchildren, Jacob Coleman, Landon Coleman, Toree Hammond and Denver Wilde; and by one great-granddaughter Myah Labadie. Her surviving family is rounded out by Mark Coleman of Bastrop; her brother, Clare Drummond of Indianapolis, Indiana and James Drummond of Flint, Michigan, and numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
