Funeral services for Mr. William A. "Bill" Tatel, will be held at 3:00 PM, on Monday, December 10th, 2007, at the Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Greg Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
Mr. Tatel was born in Fitzgerald, GA on March 11th, 1926, and passed away on December 7th, 2007, in West Monroe, LA. He retired from the Ouachita Parish Police Jury in 1997. Mr. Tatel was a World War II veteran of US Army.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Tatel; sons, Jake Tatel and wife, Leslie, of Mission Viejo, CA, Randy Tatel of Nashville, TN and Daryl Platt and wife, Bonnie, of West Monroe, LA; daughters, Glendal Ward and husband, Gary, of Zephyr Hills, FL, and Dawn Platt of West Monroe, LA; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and his best friend, "Tobey."
Visitation is on Monday at the church from 1:30PM until 3:00PM prior to the service.
