Funeral Services for Lannie Bryant Dortch, Jr, 65, of West Monroe, LA will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Life Church in West Monroe with Rev. Joel Dyke officiating. Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Lannie was born April 9, 1949 in Lake Providence, LA and passed away November 16, 2014 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of Life Church and was retired from Graphic Packaging. Mr. Dortch loved to fish and was a true friend to many and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lannie Bryant Dortch, Sr. and Gertha Peterson Dortch.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Donna Dortch; children, Amanda Moore and husband, Brandon and Scotty Dortch and wife, Sheila; grandchildren, Jerad Bennett, Jake Savage, Nick Savage, Trey Harvey and Peyton Moore; great grandchildren, Briella, Elijah and Emma; brother, Tommy Sturgis; and sister, Marilyn Stinnett.
Pallbearers will be Jake Savage, Nick Savage, Trey Harvey, Peyton Moore, Dave Gore, Curt McCabe, Lee Remeriz and Jim Myers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Life Church in West Monroe.
