"Genie" Simonton, a lifelong resident of Lincoln Parish, was the devoted mother of five children: Sallie Sue Johnston, Juanita "Neita" Brumley, Sammie Charles Simonton, Richard Wayne Simonton, and Dewey Lane Simonton.
