John Joseph Barton, 81, a native of New Castle, Ky., and resident of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Barton and Willetta Downey Barton; and one sister, Evelyn Beatty.
He was a U.S. World War II Navy veteran and a Korean War veteran. He was a pilot with Rotor-Aids Helicopter Company in Grand Isle.
