BENTON, LA - A graveside service for Joe Hadden, 62, will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Rose-Neath Cemetery with Father Pike Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Rose-Neath Cemetery, Bossier City, LA.
Joe was born in Shreveport, LA November 26, 1947 and died June 18, 2010 at Promise Hospital in Bossier City. He was raised in Bossier City, attended Bossier High School and Airline High School and was a member of the first graduation class of Airline High School. He retired from the Illinois Central Railroad as a conductor and then worked at the Bossier Parish Courthouse in maintenance.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Irene Hadden; son, Brandon Hadden and brother, Carl Mack Hadden.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Catherine Cockrell and husband Kevin; granddaughter, Brooke Cockrell all of Bossier City; brothers, Richard Hadden and wife Connie of Bossier City, Johnny P. Hadden and wife Sherry of Long Beach, MS; sister, Theresa Ann Fitch and husband Nathan of Bossier City; a number of nieces and nephews and special friends, Butch, Cliff and Pat Rowe, Pete Cobb and all the Deer Camp Buddies
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. John Chandler and the doctors and nurses at Promise Hospital of Bossier City.
