BENTON, LA - Funeral services of Mr. Calvin Haney, age 71, will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Lynn Malone of Benton United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 21, 2011 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel.
Calvin was born on April 7, 1939 in Hattiesburg, MS, to Harry and Revell Haney, and died on February 19, 2011 at Promise Hospital of Shreveport. Mr. Haney was retired from International Paper Co. after 43 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Calvin's greatest passion was being able to hunt and fish.
Preceding Mr. Haney in death are his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Earnestine Haney, sons, Jim Haney of Little Rock, AR, Charlie Haney and wife Shirley of Camden, AR, Dewayne Pierce and wife Terri of Haughton, LA, daughters, Olivia Clack and husband Wade of Camden, AR, Pam McKeever and husband Buff of Benton, LA, brother, Richard Haney and wife Kathy of Gauciex, MS, seven grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and two nieces.
Honoring Calvin as pallbearers will be Bill Daniels, Gene Arnold, Matt Newberry, Scott Smith, Danny Disotell and Darren Disotell
The family would like to a extend thank you to the staffs at Promise Hospital, Christus Schumpert Highland and a special thank you to Dr. Schuler and Jennifer.

The family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1942
