En.listed Livingston Parish, Louisiana, March 26, 1862. Present on Rolls - October 1862. Roll March & April 1863, Absent, sick, wounded at Murfreesboro. Unknown where he is. Rolls from November 1863 - April 30, 1865, Absent, prisoner of war since December 31, 1862. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War. Captured Murfreesboro, Tenn., Jan. 5, 1863. Received Camp Morton, Indiana, April 1, 1863. Name appears as signature to an Oath of Allegiance to the U S, subscribed and sworn to at Camp Morton, Indiana, May 23, 1865. Residence New Orleans, Louisiana, complexion dark, hair black, eyes blue, height 5 ft 5 3/4 inches.
