Shreveport, LA. Celebration of life services for Minister Joe Sweeney, 67, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Praise Temple Full Gospel B.C., Dr. Elbert "Eddie" Giles, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Praise Temple. Mr. Sweeney entered into eternal rest on March 5, 2015 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife; Annette Sweeney, son; Patrick Sweeney, Sr, daughter; Jennifer S. Brown, 5 sisters, 4 brothers, 2 grandchildren, 2 God children, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
