From Louisiana Archives ~ Sarver, Martin, Private Company B, 16th Battalion Louisiana Infantry. (Confederate Guards Response Battalion). Enlisted September 12,1862, Camp Pratt. Roll March and April, 1863, Absent, detailed as shoemaker. Roll May and June,1863 Deserted on march from Camp Pratt to Alexandria, Louisiana.
