Scoggins Cemetery is located 3.1 miles west of Pickering, LA & US Hwy 171 on Cooper Church Road. Pickering is located between Leesville & DeRidder, LA on US Hwy 171. The cemetery is in the center of a cow pasture on the left side of the road, surrounded by a low voltage electric fence. To gain entrance to the cemetery, drive past it to the big house on the left. There was a chain link fence around the cemetery, but the cattle had pushed it down and knocked over the headstones. The cemetery is overgrown with poke salad, sting weed, and trees.
