A Celebration of Life service will be held for Larry R. Tinker on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Chaplain Jay Valentine and Bro. Billy Pierce will be officiating the service in Larry's honor. Interment will follow at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Ivan, LA. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel.

Larry was born February 18, 1947 in Turlock, CA and passed away at his residence on February 5, 2015 in Benton, LA. He was employed with Whitaker Construction for 34 years and Hand Construction for 7 years as a Construction Superintendent for both companies. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his granddaughter. He will be missed by all who knew and worked with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery E. and Mary Dean Salyards.

Larry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Eileen T. Tinker of Benton, LA; son, Alan Tinker and wife Jeannie of Ruston, LA, daughter, Spring Rambo and husband Johnny; granddaughter, Alana Neal of Benton, LA and brother, Jerry Salyards and wife Kristin of Benton, LA. He is also survived by his two special dogs, Max and Molly who will miss him dearly.

Honoring Larry as pallbearers will be: Mike Ernest, Ricky Rains, Jim Allen, Tommy LePointe, Dean Craig, and Bobby Buford.
