Funeral services for Adele Arter Rosedale, 92, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Monroe, with Rev. Mark Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.Mrs. Rosedale passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her residence. She was a Navy veteran of WWII. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Church as well as a member of the American Legion.Mrs. Rosedale was preceded in death by her husband Leonard L. Rosedale and parents Charles Joseph Arter and Adele Rose Asterita.Survivors include her son, David Rosedale and wife Brenda of Pineville; daughters, Debbie Norris and husband Steve of Monroe, Susan Posey and husband Lionel of Aimwell; grandchildren, Bryan Rosedale, Stacey Winthrop and husband Brett, Cindy Pulitzer and husband Sam, Christi Norris, Ashley Gruber and husband Jered, Jennifer Smith and husband Chad, Jacob Posey and wife Kaycie; great-grandchildren, Landon and Braden Rosedale, Bryce, Avery, and Vaughn Pulitzer; sister, Frances O'Brien; several nieces and nephews; and her constant companion "Prissy".Pallbearers will be Bryan Rosedale, Jacob Posey, Chad Smith, Greg Jones, Craig James, and Gary Wagoner.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road.
