Funeral services for Mrs. Alma "Pat" Jones of Monroe, La. will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday August 13, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA with Rev. J. Roddy Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, La.Mrs. Jones died at her residence on August 11, 2011"Aunt Sis" was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Jones, her parents, Alma and William H. Patrick and brothers, Henry Patrick and William H. Patrick, Jr."Aunt Sis" worked 42 years for General Motors Acceptance Corporation in New Orleans and Monroe. She was a traveler of note, having been all over the world. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She was a talented China Painter, who shared her talents with numerous friends and relatives.Survivors: Brother and Sister-in-law E. W. "Pop" and Alma Ray Patrick; 5 Sisters-in-law, Betty Jones, Delores Jones, Anne Jones, Ruth Newbery, Francis Sparks and husband, Jim and Ruth Patrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Ed Patrick, Billy Patrick, Will Patrick, Ronald Scott, Kenneth Stone and J. O. LeDartVisitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time.Memorials may be made to Briarfield Academy or the charity of your choice.
