Services for Mr. Elmer E. Abercrombie, 81,of Athens, were held at 3:30 p.m., July 2 in Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hurricane. The Rev.
"Butch" Riddle officiated. Burial was in Hurricane Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Arcadia.
Mr. Abercrombie died Wednesday, July 1, 1987 in Bienville General Hospital in Arcadia.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise B. Abercrombie of Athens; one brother, John H. Abercrombie of Athens; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
