From Louisiana Archives ~ Killingsworth, J A, Private Company F, 27th Louisiana Infantry. Enlisted March 16, 1862, New Orleans, Louisiana. Present on Rolls to December, 1862. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War show him captured and paroled at Vicksburg, Mississippi, July 4, 1863.
