Promoted 1st Lieutenant, October 13, 1861. Roll for November and December, 1861, Absent on furlough. Roll dated June 30, 1862. Discharged by orders from Division Headquarters. List of Paroled Officers from Official Rolls shows Caspari, L, Captain Louisiana State Forces, Paroled at Alexandria, Louisiana, June 29, 1865.
