KEITHVILLE, Louisiana - Funeral service for Edward "Eddie" D Bardwell, 55, will be held 10:00 am Monday, September 17, 2012 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev Sam Carr and Rev Mike Stowell. Interment will follow in First Baptist Church of Keithville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm until 4 pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Eddie was born December 25, 1956 in Bentley, Louisiana to Ray and India Bardwell. He passed away September 12, 2012 in Bossier City from a tragic accident. He was a resident of Keithville. Eddie was a graduate of Northwood High School and Northwest Louisiana Vocational and Technical School with a machinist degree. He was employed by River Cities Machine, LLC. He was an avid member of Word of Life Center and was a member of Looking for the Lost Christian Motorcycle and Rolling Radiant Thunder Christian Motorcycle Associations. He had a love for dogs and enjoyed working with them. He was a volunteer for Pet Savers. He was preceded in death by his father Ray Bardwell, Sr and mother India Bardwell. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 14 years, Betty Elaine Patrick Bardwell; step-mother Betty Bardwell, stepdaughter Nikki Dove and husband Tim; grandchildren Tabitha Dove and Tad Dove; sister Angela Kennedy; brother Ray Bardwell, Jr and wife Pat; half-sister, Sandy Gail Leclare; brother-in-law David Aaron Patrick and a number of other family members. Pallbearers will be Word of Life Men's Ministry, Rex Morvan, Ski Daddy Spinks, Ken Adcock, Shane Prestridge, Bill Lormand, and Ben Cole.
