Obituary:
Funeral services for Donald Ray Stephenson, 59, of Rayville, LA were 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Rev. John Cleveland officiating. Interment followed in Antioch Cemetery, Rayville.
Donald was born July 31, 1950 in Monroe and passed away Friday, November 20, 2009 in Rayville, LA.
Mr. Stephenson was a member of Parkway Assembly of God. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing and playing his guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Tottawn Stephenson and Ruby Celestrine Graves Stephenson; sister, Irma Mae Cromwell; and brother, Jerry Stephenson.
Survivors include his children, Cydni Stephenson and Dylan Stephenson, along with their mother, Terri Lynne Stephenson, Shannon Stephenson, and Robin Stephenson all of West Monroe; 6-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Young and wife, Marie of Bossier City, Roger Stephenson and wife, Glenda of Archibald, Johnny Stephenson and wife, Terri of West Monroe, and Larry Stephenson of Rayville; sisters, Jean Dilmore of Sterlington, Mag Haynes and husband, Fred of Archibald, and JoAnn Dilmore of Monroe; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Dilmore, Josh Dilmore, Jimmy Emmons, Timmy Stephenson, Waymond Hales, and Tommy Tharp.
