Funeral services for Mrs. Celestine Dennis Wallace Jones, age 86, will be held Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the First Baptist Church, Cotton Valley, LA with Chaplin William "Buster" Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Cotton Valley Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Cotton Valley, LA.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bailey Funeral Home, Cotton Valley.
Mrs. Jones was born November 17, 1925 in Honey Grove, TX to John and Addie McCollum Dennis and passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 in Keithville, LA. She had been a resident of Cotton Valley for 60 years, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cotton Valley and was a Beautician for 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Verna W. Allen and husband, James L. of Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren, Stella Allen, Shelly Gordy and husband, Tim, Chris Wallace, Cody Wallace; nine great grandchildren; sister, Vivian Mitchell of Cotton Valley and brother, Talmadge Dennis and wife, Betty of Cotton Valley, LA.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Vernon Wallace, Warren Jones and a son, Dennis Wallace.
