Cotton Valley, LA Funeral services for Bobby J. Walker will be held Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church in Cotton Valley, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Gene Gibson and Rev. Kenneth DeHart. Interment will follow at Cotton Valley Cemetery in Cotton Valley under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Bobby was born June 7, 1934 in Cotton Valley and entered into rest August 29, 2013 in Shreveport. He served his country in the United States Army, retired from Kerr McGee and Webster Parish School System. Bobby was an auctioneer and a bus driver for the ARC of North Webster. His son Delton Walker preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Jean Walker of Cotton Valley, sons Kevin Walker and wife Geri of Cotton Valley, Richard Walker and wife Susan of Cotton Valley, Franklin Walker and wife Pam of Little Rock, Arkansas, daughters Tammy Jean Sissom of Shreveport, Vicki Lynn Bullock of Cotton Valley, sisters Marion Jenkins and husband Bub of Atlanta, Texas, Gladys Oller of New Iberia, brother Charlie Walker, Jr. and wife Joann of San Antonio, Texas, fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The family extends special thanks to WK Cancer Center, Dr. Joyce Feagan, 4 east nursing staff, and Christus Hospice Grace Home Staff.
