STONEWALL, LA - A memorial service for Mr. Charles Ronald Crowe, age 66, will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the New Sarepta Baptist Church, Sarepta, LA with Rev. Tom Crowe officiating.Charles was born February 1, 1947 in Carthage, TX to Charles Desmond and Ava B. Menefee Crowe and passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. He was a resident of Stonewall, LA for the past few years and attended Salem Baptist Church of Stonewall. Charles graduated from Sarepta High School in Sarepta, LA and continued his education at Northwestern State College where he graduated in 1973. He was an avid fisherman and huge sports fan who loved to root for his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and the Texas Rangers. Charles will be remembered as a kind, caring and generous person.He is survived by his brother, Stephen Crowe and wife, Jan; nephews, Jasan Wiese, Jeff Wiese and wife Sheri; great nieces, Brianna Wiese, Bella Wiese; great nephew, Major Wiese and a very special friend, Dixie Gibson.Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Beth Crowe.
