Funeral services for Cecil Joe Tims, age 55, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Bailey Mortuary Chapel in Springhill with Mr. Garland Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Bailey Mortuary.
Mr. Tims, a resident of Minden, LA died Friday, August 27, 2010 in Minden. He was employed with Bakers Sawmill Company.
He is survived by sons, Cecil Tims, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Sturgis, MI; Blake Tims and wife, Andi; daughters, Tiffany Tims Sepulvado and husband, Bryan and Miranda Smiley and husband, Mark, all of Winnfield, LA; nine grandchildren, Jagger, Skyler, Carly, Aleah, Jacie, Savannah, Jade, Madison and Brayden; brother, Richard Tims of Dixie Inn and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joyle Cecil and Louise Ezernack Tims.
