ERROL X. (E.X.) BANKSTON, AGE 91
And a resident of Franklinton died Sunday, July 20, 2008 at his residence.
He was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and a retired dairyman.
Survived by: Wife: Myra Bateman Bankston of Franklinton
Several nephews Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home after 9 AM Wednesday, July 23, 2008 with a funeral service to be held at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ed Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Cemetery

And a resident of Franklinton died at 5 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

She was an active member and supporter of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, being very instrumental in the expansion of its buildings and ministry.

She was the widow of E.X. Bankston of 67 years.

She was survived by 32 nieces and nephews and over 60 great nieces and nephews and numerous other family members.

She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters Nellie King, Fannie Magee and Margaret Morris and 7 brothers Lawson, Murray, J.W., Carl, Wallace, Chester, and Woodrow Bateman.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home after 9 AM Friday, July 31, 2009 until time of funeral service to be held at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ed Jenkins and Dr. Joe Baugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Cemetery.
