Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Bryant Cobb Cozby, age 90, will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Byron Longino officiating. Interment will follow in Old Sarepta Cemetery, Sarepta, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cozby, a lifelong resident of this area, was born on September 2, 1923 to Albert Cleveland and Ella Mae McCord Bryant in Idabel, OK and passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Minden, LA. She was a member of the Pilgrims Home Baptist Church, a homemaker and a former employee of the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Roderick and husband, David of Alexander, AR; two sons, Norman Cobb and wife, Mary Ann of Dayton, TX, and William Cobb of Cotton Valley, LA; twenty-three grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Frances Shaver and husband, Harold of Ivan, LA; step-son, Ricky Cozby and wife, Hattie of Dayton, TX; numerous step-grandchildren, other family and friends.

Mrs. Cozby was preceded in death by parents; husbands, Joseph C. Cobb and C.C. Cozby; sons, Joe Edward Cobb, Donald Wayne Cobb; grandson, Joe E. Cobb, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Sunny Weeks; and daughters-in-law, Carol Cobb and Norma Cobb.

Serving as pallbearers will be Norman Cobb, Michael Roberts, Duane Roberts, Justin Sample, David Roderick and Dale Ford.
