Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Barnard Wynn, age 91, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Central Baptist Church, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Tim Everett officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs.Wynn a resident of Springhill passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 in Shreveport. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Springhill Art League and was retired from Ebby Halliday Real Estate Agency where she worked as an agent. Mrs. Wynn was an avid Bridge player, golfer, and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. L. and Zepher Mae Daily Barnard; husband, Joseph "Joe" Polk Wynn; grandson, Joseph Wynn Pickett; brothers, Elvis "Tom" Barnard, Maurice "Pete" Barnard; and sister, Margaret Inez Allen.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Horn and husband, Allen of Great Falls, MT, Sherry Pickett and husband, Thomas Alan of Snoqualmie Pass, WA; granddaughter, Sherry Michelle Horn of Great Falls, MT; great-grandchild, Jaime Allen Horn; sister, Melba Jean Lee of Mandeville, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
