Chester William Darden, 48, of Magnolia, died Friday in a Magnolia hospital from injuries received in an accident on the Magnolia-Taylor Highway. Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia. Burial will follow in the Springhill City Cemetery with the Rev. Sonny Simpson and the Rev. Dean Shunway officiating. Funeral services will be under the direction of Smith's Funeral Home in Stamps, Ark. Mr. Darden was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia and was a native of Union County. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Chester Darden; three sons, Wayne Darden, Springhill, La.; Chester Darden, Magnolia; Richard Darden, Magnolia; one step-son, Jerry Sandifer, El Dorado; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Micerson, Springhill, Mrs. Tamie Lou Darden, Magnolia; four step-daughters, Mrs. Pauline Darden, El Dorado; Mrs. Gloria Gene Carr, El Dorado; Mrs. Virginia Jacobs, Shreveport; Miss Brenda Sandifer, Magnolia; his mother, Mollie Jane Darden, Louann; his grandmother, Mrs. Tommy Darden Primm, Taylor, Ark.; two brothers, Robert Darden, California; Jerry Lee Darden, Louann; four sisters, Mrs. Junior Clift, El Dorado; Mrs. Elvarette Coile, Springhill; Mrs. Darrell Johnson, Taylor; and Mrs. Elmer J.
