Funeral services for Miss Jeanette Robertson, age 67, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 11, 2014, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Springhill, LA with Bro. Marty Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 12:30 pm until service time.
Jeanette was born on October 16, 1947, to James Rowland and Hilda Smith Robertson in Springhill, LA and passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, in Springhill, LA. Jeanette attended special education classes in the Webster Parish school system until she was about 21 and attended ARC of North Webster for several years. Jeanette resided at Bell Oaks Community Home and was employed at Oak Works, Inc. Jeanette enjoyed bowling, Special Olympics, music, and dancing. She loved her family and friends. She will be remembered for her sweet smile and contagious laugh.
She is survived by her five brothers; Glenn Robertson and wife, Sheila of Sarepta, LA; Jimmy Robertson and wife, Judy of Gonzales, LA; Mike Robertson and wife, Lori of Pine Bluff, AR; Dennis Robertson and wife, Cindy of Daphne, AL; David Robertson and wife Cheryle of Sarepta, LA; and sister, Jennifer Robinson and husband, Steve of Taylor, AR.
Miss Robertson was preceded in death by her parents, James Rowland Robertson and Hilda Smith Robertson.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Robertson, Jimmy Robertson, Mike Robertson, Dennis Robertson, David Robertson, and Steve Robinson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Bell Oaks, Oak Works, Carrington Place and Gamble Hospice for their love and care.
