D C Spears, Age 71 and a resident of Franklinton died at 4 AM, Monday, November 12, 2007 at his residence.
He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Chalmette.
Survived by: Wife: Saralyn Dillon Spears of Franklinton, 2 Sons and daughters in law: Michael and Carol Spears, Don and Jolene Spears all of Franklinton, 4 Grandchildren: Miranda Smith, Chelsea Barber, Sarah Spears and Selena Spears, 1 Great grandson: Grason Smith, 1 Brother: Earl Spears of Franklinton, 2 Sisters: Vilonia Edwards of Franklinton, Jeanie O'Brien of Natchez, MS
He was preceded in death by his parents T. C. and Ida Mae Spears.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 6 PM until 9 PM Monday, November 12, 2007 and after 9 AM Tuesday, November 13, 2007. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Hicks and Rev. Ed Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Star Hill Church Cemetery.
