Brother Patrick Bernard Pollard (affectionally known as Pat) was born to the union of Carrie and David (Rabbit) Pollard on May 20, 1970, in Monroe, Louisiana. He departed this life on February 19, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Patrick was baptized at an early. He accepted Christ under the leadership of Reverend C. V. Rogers at Zion Traveler Baptist Church.
Patrick was a proud Wossman High School Wildcat, graduating in 1989. Patrick began his higher education at Northeast Louisiana University and later received his HVAC certification from Everest College.
Patrick joined the military in 1991. Patrick served in various branches of the service. He completed multiple tours in the United States Army, the United States Army Reserve and the United States Navy Reserve. Though he wore many hats and had a knack for many things, his true passion and talent was selling cars.
Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Christine DeGrate and Willaim DeGrate Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Carrie Pollard of Monroe, LA; two brothers, Kevin Harris of Houston, TX and Danny Pollard (HaJuania) of Killeen, TX; five sons, Pierre Taylor of Alvin, TX, Derek Board (Kristen)of Indianapolis, IN, Peter Pollard of Dallas, TX, Jayson Pollard of Louisville, KY, and Patrick Pollard, Jr. of Monroe, LA; two daughters Jasmine Nelson of Monroe, LA and Tamera Pollard of Benton, LA; two grandsons, one grandchild on the way four nephews, five nieces and a host of family and friends.
