Caddo County,
Louisiana

March 7, 1999 - September 20, 2015

Stonewall, LA - Tristian Lane Gunn was born on March 7, 1999 and passed away on September 20, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident. He was currently a student at Linden-Kildare High School and a former student at North DeSoto High School. Tristian lived his life in this world in much the same way he came into it: In a rush and raising hell. His time here was short but his impact will be everlasting. Tristian had a love for hunting, fishing, the rodeo and girls, but football was his passion. He was many things to many people - son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, defender and truest of friends. His love and his loyalty were unconditional and limitless. Tristian had a loose tongue that he didn't often bite and a heart bigger than the cowboy hats that he held so dear. Though he did not get the chance to father dozens of children (as his parents feared would happen), he did leave behind a legacy of memories. Left to cherish those memories are Tristian's parents Brian and Amy Gunn; brother Evan Kelleher; grandfather Starkey Gunn and wife Ada; grandmother Brenda Langston and husband James; uncles and aunts Sonny and Robin Phillips, Nick and Amanda Lane, & Chuck and Sandy Gouthiere; his 5-month old puppy Beaux; and a horde of cousins and close friends. Among the angels in Heaven waiting to reunite with Tristian were his beloved maternal grandparents, Charles and Linda Gouthiere (Pap and Granny). Tristian was always the life of the party. Though our world is less without him in it, Heaven just got a little louder. Pallbearers will be Justin Gouthiere, Logan Gouthiere, Morgan Free, Austin Sharpley, Logan Ates, Nick Ainsworth, Cameron Allison and Chanler Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Hanson, Randall Vaughn, Billy Ainsworth, Christopher Haley, Cody Tolleson, Phillip Cox, Joseph Boney, Brandon Fant, and John Haley. The family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery.
