Tarver Cemetery is on US Forest Service land in the Kisatchie National Forest south of Provencal, Louisiana.
From Provencal, go south on LA117 to the Forest Service Ranger Station at the corner of LA117 and Longleaf Vista. Turn right (west) on FS337 and then take the first road to the right (north). FS337 parallels LA117. Go north on the road approximately 0.5 miles. The cemetery is on the right through the woods approximately 0.2 miles. The are roads and trails are maintained by the Forestry Service and are only accessible by ATV or by walking.
