HOUSTON - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 11:00 AM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Michael Allen Case, 60, who died on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Houston Northwest Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Pastor Daniel Fulford will conduct the funeral services. Musical selections for the service will be "How Great Thou Art", "Amazing Grace", "Your Love Oh Lord" and "Worthy".

Survivors include his beloved wife, Diana McClinton Case; one daughter, Meghann Elizabeth Case; two sons, Michael Brent Case and Michael Andrew Case; two step-daughters, Tonia Stutes and Kristin Stutes Brinson; one sister, Jo Marie Case Hammond; and one brother, Charles Keith Case.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marion June Matthew Case.

A native of Orange, Texas and a resident of Lafayette for 27 years, Michael graduated from Lamar University and was a member of Family Life Church in Lafayette and Grace Church of Humble, Texas. He worked for Baker Hughes for twenty-six years, NL Petroleum, Teleco and Nova Technology Corp. He enjoyed carpentry and home remodeling, playing golf and watching television. He loved sports, coached soccer and supported his favorite football teams, LSU, A&M and the Saints. Michael will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be Michael Brent Case, Michael Andrew Case, Jimmy Rodda, Kevin Quick, Carl LeBlanc, Gary Feuge, Rodney Harmon and Mark Brinson.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Lafayette location on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123-1718 or to The First Tee, World Golf Village, 425 South Legacy Trail, St. Augustine, FL 32092.
