LAFAYETTE - Services for Elizabeth Ann "Lizzy" Sarrazin, 8, will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Seton Church with Rev. Russell Harrington and Rev. Harold Trahan officiating. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation will be today from 4-10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Martin & Castille Funeral Home, which will reopen Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A resident of Lafayette, Lizzy died Tuesday morning, Jan. 1, 2002, at her residence.

She was a loving daughter, sister, niece, grandchild and friend.

Lizzy is survived by her parents, Amy Hebert Sarrazin and Ronny Sarrazin Jr., sister, Lauren, and brothers, Christopher and Andre', all of Lafayette; her maternal grandparents, Nancy Braus Hebert and Johnny Hebert of New Iberia; her paternal grandmother, Sandra Sarrazin of Metairie; her maternal great-grandfather, Dallas Braus; her paternal great-grandmother, Joanna Noto; and her aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ronny Sarrazin Sr.; her maternal great-grandmother, Lauris Braus; her maternal great-grandparents, Nelson and Una Hebert; her paternal great-grandfather, Eddie Noto; and her paternal great-grandparents, Louis and Georgette Sarrazin.

Pallbearers will be Lizzy's uncle, Andy Hebert, Michael Caruso, Will Webre and George Derousselle.

Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers, Christopher and Andre' Sarrazin, and her uncles, Kevin Langlinais and Aaron Dearmitt.
