Lafayette - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Felton Charles, 79 years old, who died October 4, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Services will be conducted by Fr. Sebastian Myladiyil, S.V.D.
Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
He is survived by Helen Antoine Charles, his loving wife of 58 years; two sons, Patrick Charles (Matisha) and Elton Charles (Brenda); four daughters, Adeline Williams, Carolyn (Lawrence) Pete, Keler (Daryl) Mitchell and Melanie (Myrick) Winters; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Prejean and Agnes Solomon, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Felton was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jeffery and Lena (Joseph) Charles; his brother, Alton; his father and mother-in-law, Alpha and Lydia (Hopkins) Antoine.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
