Home Going Services will be held at Philadelphia Christian Church Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 am for Jody Brooks Alexander who passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015. Jody Brooks Alexander was born May 20, 1974 to Joseph H Alexander and Ida Francis Alexander in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Jody owned and managed Alexander Floor Covering, where he worked endlessly perfecting his craft. Because of his love for the outdoors, Jody moved his family to Carencro, Louisiana 13 years ago. He truly loved living out in the country. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his wife, children, family and friends and was passionate about cooking. He also loved animals. His contagious smile and loving personality will be missed by all.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 14 years, Tequila Mouton Alexander, his children, Cody Alexander, Jody (Dre) Leday, Jonaja Leday, Tyra Alexander, Jodi (Gabby) Alexander, Darockus Alexander, Joy Alexander all of Lafayette, Louisiana; Alexandria Celestine of Houston, Texas; mother, Ida Francis Alexander; brother Erick Alexander; sisters Pamela A Guillory and her husband Reginald and Ramona Alexander all of Lafayette; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friend.

He was preceded in death by father Joseph H Alexander; maternal grandparents Albert and Wilda Sias Francis and paternal grandmother, Martha Alexander.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 at Kinchen Funeral Home from 4 pm to 9 pm and at Philadelphia Christian Church on Friday March 27, 2015 from 7 am until time of services at 11 am.
